Madeline: Age 4

I've been enjoying my daily photo adventures; especially since the spring weather is making it's way into Washington! Today, Madeline and I went for a very "QUICK" walk around the block. Apparently it was not her day for photos...I guess she just wasn't 'feeling' it! I still managed to sneak in a few quick ones! :) Click on the image below to see it larger.

Les Fleurs

Just playing around with my Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens, and fun textures. I don't know what these flowers are called, but this is a new one that is just getting ready to bloom! I think it needs a little fairy sitting on top of it!

Interaction

I am beyond blessed to be part of an amazing worship team at Cornwall Church. This weekend we said goodbye to our Worship Pastor, Mike Theriault, after 14 years of leading worship! Thanks Mike for the opportunity to be a part of a group of such skilled and crafted musicians, and true worshipers! We will miss both your skill and your heart!

Field Day

It's been a while since I've done photos of my little munchkin, Madeline. She just seems to get bigger every day and the wild words coming from her mouth never cease to amaze me... take this morning's conversation for example: we were casually doing our hair, getting ready for the day, crammed close together in our small bathroom and she says:

"I look like a girl.."

Me: (misunderstanding) "What?? You look like a gorilla?"

Madeline: "No, of course not!" Then, ever so sarcastically... "Do you look like a bear?"

I just looked at her, and let out a huge laugh. Her wit gets me every day! Oh to be 4 going on 18....

Art Projects

I know I might be blinded by my "mom goggles" however, Madeline surprised me with her latest of cutting crafts. She found an old tablet of construction paper, and proceeded to make something I thought looked pretty cool! Check it out while I go clean up the clippings...

Larabee at Sunset

Sunday night I pulled Aaron and Megs out of their cozy home to go shoot a winter sunset at Larabee State Park. It was cold, crisp, clear and calm. As it turns out Aaron and Meg were at a nearby beach a few nights prior, and if you take a look at their blog you can see the difference in weather from what we experienced Sunday.
