Les Fleurs

Just playing around with my Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens, and fun textures. I don't know what these flowers are called, but this is a new one that is just getting ready to bloom! I think it needs a little fairy sitting on top of it!

These are lovely, especially the second one! I love the vintage feel they have with the textures. I think I need to try this technique on some of my macros and see if I can get anything near as nice as yours :)

That flower is simply beautiful! You're right. It just needs a fairy sitting on top of it. I love the way you used textures, too.

I like the second one best...I can't really tell what the first one is, although could be a cool abstract piece. Aren't textures fun?

I agree these shots look great. The background really helps the flower to stand out. Nicely done.

Thanks for all the lovely comments! :)

For the textures, one I downloaded from deviant art (the 2nd photo), and I don't even remember where or how I found it. It was over a year ago, and the 1st one was from Texture King, there is a link to it if you go a couple posts down here:

THANK YOU APRIL for those links!

She was one who initially inspired me to use texture over flowers! :)
