Shooting Date

On Sunday morning I greeted the day with a photography adventure, along with two friends Amy Parsons, and Megs Nelson. We met at Marine Park, then walked to a "secret spot" along the bay. The water was a deep blue, and the sky was filled with swift looming clouds, allowing the sun to peek through for only a few moments at a time. We spent a couple hours walking on weathered sandstone banks, and watching bald eagles fly overhead. The fun thing about being with other photographers is that each person can see the same subject in a completely different way. Take these shots of Megs' shoes for example:

Here are the rest from our adventures!

What a fun time you must have had. I love the three different perspectives of the same subject. Amazing, isn't it what three different photographers can come up with. I love that shot of you smelling the flowers! You're too cute!

How fun is that!! Love the personal perspectives on the shoes! LOL on you smelling the roses! I need some of those. That's the only kind that won't turn me into a sneezy, watery mess!

Jewells--Again, this looks like a fab place. Please give ML and I directions when the weather improves; we are always on the lookout for photo outings. Isn't it fun to see how everyone sees the same thing differently??

Hello, Shannon Walker here. Just found your blog via Meg's comment on my blog. Anyway, I don't think I knew, (or maybe I did), that you were a photographer. I've been looking around and am so impressed. I just got a Canon Rebel and have had fun playin around and doing the photography thingy- have so much to learn though. What editing program do you use? Anyway, it'll be fun to check in every once in a while- say hi to B'ham for me, I'll live vicariously through your photos for now, until (lord willing) we're in B'ham next Spring-
